Responsible business
We see corporate social responsibility as a commitment to society. Through our activities, we strive to combine the goals and values of our company with the needs of our communities. That is why we have focused on a number of issues that we have a long-standing commitment to.
Supporting education
We believe that education is one of the most fundamental prerequisites for moving forward as a company. That is why we support educational projects for all generations. From secondary school and university students through our Aliter Incubator education programme, to IT education and increasing technical literacy among senior citizens.
Environmental impact
We strive to minimise our impact on the environment and operate an environmental management system. However, we also want to actively contribute to its improvement, which is why we are involved in green projects, support alternative modes of transport and organise a company book SWAP to give books a second chance.
Social support
We have a long-standing commitment to supporting and assisting the third sector. We were the first commercial company to participate in the Bratislava Christmas Markets and our stall offered products from sheltered workshops. We regularly offer material and physical support to charitable activities and inspire our employees - for example by participating in the programme “How Much Love Fits in a Shoebox?”, where they filled over 70 boxes with gifts for the elderly.
Supporting sport
We are also committed to supporting sport. We provide financial and organisational support to a number of organisations and events across Slovakia. For example, since 2017 we have been the general sponsor of the STEFANIK TRAIL running race, which we also help to organise. We support international cycling races around Slovakia, and last year we became partners of the Slovak Association of Minifootball.
Culture and Arts
Art and technology are inextricably linked. That is why we support young artists and motivate them to dedicate their work to digital creation. For several years, we have been organising the DIGITUM competition in Slovak schools, giving young artists the opportunity to present their digital work and become visible on a national level.
