What will be your task?

  • coordination of a small R&D team in close cooperation with the Team Leader of the R&D team in Liptovský Mikuláš, including support in onboarding new members, knowledge transfer, experience sharing, etc.

  • planning, management and control of the implementation of tasks for the development of HW and HW components of the Bratislava R&D team

  • management of the team responsible for the development of ruggedized equipment for military use

  • collection and analysis of requirements, processing of system and technical specifications

  • processing and management of development documentation

  • processing of materials for project documentation

  • development of detailed technical documentation in cooperation with the team

  • assembly and activation of electronic devices

  • testing and service support of electronic devices

  • participation in EMC and EMS measurements, solving environmental and electrical tests

  • ensuring compliance of civil and military standards for EMC and EMS (electromagnetic radiation and immunity) and standards for environmental and electrical tests

  • creation and management of production documentation including the creation of technical drawings of electronic devices, systems, assembly, activation and testing procedures

  • cooperation in the preparation of the strategy and annual R&D development plans

  • analysis of new technologies/production procedures and their application within R&D

  • consulting / advisory activities

What should you meet?

The position is suitable for applicants with education:

  • university I. degree

  • university II. degree

Education in the field:

  • IT, telecommunications, electrical engineering, electronics

Language skills:

  • English language - Intermediate (B1)

Number of years of experience:

  • 3 years

Personal prerequisites and skills

  • professional qualification in electrical engineering at least according to § 22, Decree of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Slovak Republic No. 508/2009 Coll.

  • experience in managing a team that solved the integration of hardware el. components into functional units

  • knowledge of EMC and EMI, and the ability to implement the requirements of standards into designed devices, e.g. MIL-STD

  • basic manual skills necessary for the design of electronic devices

  • knowledge or experience in using CAD software design systemsactive approach to problem solving, efficiency and consistency

  • ability to work under time pressure, flexibility, innovative and proactive approach

  • ability to learn and progress in new areas

  • independence and communication skills

  • ability to find solutions and quickly adapt to dynamically changing requirements

  • ability to work in a team (team player)

* 2300 €/month. The stated salary represents the minimum level, the final amount of the salary will be fine-tuned depending on the experience and individual skills of the applicant.
