Aliter Technologies as a Silver Partner of iDEME 2016

9th International Conference iDEME (informatization of public sector) co-organized by PPP and the Government Office of the Deputy Minister for Investment and Information Society was held on 27 June 2016 in hotel Bôrik, Bratislava. The Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and the Digital Leader of Slovakia, Mr. Peter Pellegrini, took over the patronage of the conference. Aliter Technologies supported the event focused on the presentations dealing with the implementation of PO7 OPII Information Society, electronic services of public sector and cyber security in the form of Silver Partnership. Tomas Oriescik, the director of Software Development Division delivered the presentation introducing the product of the company the Cloud Service Provisioner, which enables automatic orchestration of IssS services in the Cloud. Peter Dostal, the CEO of the company contributed in the board discussion with his view to the current status of electronic services and public procurement procedures in Slovakia.

Representatives of the company Aliter Technologies attended, at the invitation of British Ambassador in Slovakia, Mr. Andrew Garth, the reception held on the occasion of the Queen´s Elizabeth II 90th birthday celebration. Aliter Technologies as a member of the British Chamber of Commerce with the activities also on the British market with its participation at the reception honored this amazing jubilee of her Majesty.

Aliter Technologies Discovers Vulnerability on APIC Devices of CISCO

A company´s Security Researcher, during the security audit of devices delivered by the company, disclosed an unknown vulnerability on APIC devices of CISCO Company. The vulnerability is due to the use of incorrect installation and permission settings for binary files during installation of the system software on a device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to gain root- level privileges and take full control of the device.  CISCO is not aware of any public announcements or malicious use of the vulnerability.  The Cisco Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT), after being notified by company Aliter Technologies, released software updates that address this vulnerability. The vulnerability was present on all previous versions of SDN controllers.
